The Great Barrier Reef, stretching for 2,300 km into the tropics, is a collection of islands, cays and some of the most beautiful coral reefs to be found anywhere. The diving, fishing and general exploring are without equal and it is not uncommon to find areas where you will not see another boat or person for a week or more.
